Jude is Nigerian, Sharan is Indian and they must be in love because they had a Nigerian ceremony, an Indian ceremony, and a Christian ceremony.…in Jamaica. Don’t mind me, I’ll just be sitting here consumed with envy at this beautiful baby making, multicultural wedding.

“HEY MOM, look he’s not Indian and they’re happy!”

Truth. This picture has so much of it.

Guilty as charged (:

These quadruplets graduated with masters degrees at the same time from the same school…

And they are Nigerians too! :)

Ron Paul and the Dept of Edu

By now my friends know that I support Ron Paul, but I was really scared when I heard he wants to cut student Aide. I’m going to college next year, and I need all the help I can get, so you can imagine the fright.

I did my research (thanks to the campaign website for writing an article about this) and once again, Ron Paul has given a straight answer to what he plans to do.

Even though my mom is Pro-Obama and all things Obama (which I understand and respect), she loved Ron Paul’s answer about whether people who are below the age of 26 should be on their parent’s insurance. You should have seen how she yelled at the TV when Newt Gringrich said they should stop being lazy and get their own jobs and insurance (i can’t quote word for word, but it was pretty much anti the whole thing).

I have a family member in this situation. She graduated from college recently, but nobody is hiring. Loans are demanding she pays $500 dollars a month with her minimum wage job. She recently caught the chicken pox, so now she has to take time out of work too. Said family member is benefiting from her parent’s health insurance. You can understand why my mom was riled up, because the situation was so close to home.

Ron Paul knows people depend on things such as student loans:

In my budget, Social Security, Medicare, — and yes, student loans — are not cut in any way for those currently receiving such services or for those who will be in the near future. Our economy is not healthy enough, nor are most Americans in a financial position at the moment, for any of these programs to be significantly altered now.”

I’ve gone off topic but the point is, Ron Paul has once again taken care of my uncertainty and I hope for people who were worried about his stance on this, this has also helped you.

Someone on tumblr was trying to make a point on  how Paul wants to give money to private schools and home schools but cut funding to student aid. I go to a public school and compared to the home school and private school kids who come to my school, they’re a lot smarter than kids who go to public school. The dept of edu was created to help raise test scores and has not worked at all. The only thing that is rising is the spending. So why not fund the alternative that works? I would kill to go to a private school.

I honestly didn’t want to post about Ron Paul anymore since this is not what my blog was suppose to be about, but I didn’t have anywhere else to rant this, so I’m doing it on Tumblr.

Happy the people of Nigeria got what they wanted (:

Yes, even though I’ve only been posting things about Ron Paul, it doesn’t mean I wasn’t keeping up with Nigerian news. I’m surprised the government gave in though.

Obama Administration Reported To Be Planning To Create "Internet ID" For Americans

President Obama is putting plans in motion to give the Commerce Department authority to create an Internet ID for all Americans, a White House official told

White House Cybersecurity Coordinator Howard Schmidt told the website it is “the absolute perfect spot in the U.S. government” to centralize efforts toward creating an “identity ecosystem” for the Internet.

The National Strategy for Trusted Identities in Cyberspace is currently being drafted by the Obama administration and will be released by the president in a few months.

“We are not talking about a national ID card. We are not talking about a government-controlled system. What we are talking about is enhancing online security and privacy, and reducing and perhaps even eliminating the need to memorize a dozen passwords, through creation and use of more trusted digital identities,” Commerce Secretary Gary Locke said at an event Friday at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, according to

Locke added that the Commerce Department will be setting up a national program office to work on this project.
